Review: Hourglass by K.S. Smith & Megan C. Smith

Best friends since birth, Brooke Reid and Savannah Prescott, spend their days working together at top fashion magazine Hourglass, while enjoying all that the Denver nightlife has to offer – but sharing a man – no way.
One of Denver’s most eligible bachelors, Luke Wellington, can have any woman he wants and he knows it. Putting his player skills to the test, he destroys a friendship and makes two women fall in love with him as he sits back and enjoys the best of both worlds.
Brooke Reid is a woman looking for her happily ever after, and the day she literally ran in to him, she thought she’d found it. Charming, charismatic, a true gentleman – what more could she ask for? Things are going perfectly until her best friend struts in the elevator and claimed his lips right in front of her.
Savannah Prescott is interested in one thing, having a good time with every single man Denver has to offer. Being tied down is too much of a bore for her free spirited ways. Or so she thinks, but when her best friend starts dating her Friday night fling, she realizes she may be ready to turn in her game card and settle down into a real relationship.
When both girls come to the realisation that they are after the same man, it means all-out war. Best friends until the end, or at least until him.

I rated Hourglass by K.S. Smith & Megan C. Smith FIVE LEAVES!!

Hourglass is a very unique read and I really enjoyed it!! The story is about two completely different best friends that are dating the same guy! Say what?! Each chapter was told from alternating point of view from best friends: Brooke and Savannah.
You have Brooke on one hand; is sweet, innocent girl that wants the flowers and the happily ever after.  On the other hand, you have Savannah, who jumps from a new bedmate every day. She enjoys living the carefree life. I have to say I have a weakness for books that deal with the scandalous topic of a love triangle! I think it has to be the fact that are so many men are fighting over me. haha

Everything is going great for Brooke and Savannah. They are finally living in the same city again and both working for the same company.  Nothing in their wildest imagination could tear the two apart.  That is until Lucas Wellington comes into the picture. Lucas is a major player and you find he is playing both Savannah and Brooke.  Lucas wants the best of both worlds; he wants his booty calls with Savannah and the relationship with Brooke.  When the girls find out that he is playing them both they are on a mission to show Lucas who the real player really is in the game of love.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance stories with a fun twist! I couldn't put this book down at all until I was finished with it and you won't be able to put it down as well!
