Asher Craig drives fast, flies high, and screws hard. But make no mistake, he’s a gentleman.
He learned way too young that we’re all on borrowed time. Fair or unfair, you only get one ride.
He vows to live for the moment because it’s the only time he owns. The past is beyond his control and the future may not exist. With his only loyalties being his family, he thrives for that edge where plunging over is always in the realm of possibility.
When a beautiful familiar face tilts his axis, he re-examines everything and realizes that second chances are overrated and a lifetime of firsts are irreplaceable. In the end, it’s not her medical degree but his trust that needs to prove that the ride together is worth it ... until it’s Beautifully Done.

~Review by Lo~
I rated Beautifully Awake with 4 leaves. I really did enjoy this novel but rated it 4 leaves for a few different reasons that I will explain.
Lili is a case manager who is working in the surgery department. She hates that every month she has to work with a new doctor and learn all of their different quarks. Chase is the new Neurosurgeon who is working in Lili's department. He is extremely intense and likes things a very certain way. Lili and Chase have a very intense connection which is usually a good thing but in this instance, felt rushed. I felt like just after 3 days of knowing each other, they were already one hundred percent in. Maybe the commitment-phobe in me is taking over and judging but I don't think it's normal to jump in that fast. Also, being someone who works in the medical field, I had issues with the fact that Chase thought it was necessary to have a case manager in his surgeries. He said it was because he didn't want to worry about where she was, but ultimately, surgeons are very focused and wouldn't be thinking of that. I need to let that go and realize that this is a dream world.
Other than those two things I mentioned, I really liked the book! Chase was extremely sexy. He is ripped and has beautiful gray eyes that pierce you when you look at him. Lili and Chase both have had troubled backgrounds that have made them closed off to the world for years. It was refreshing for them to be able to open each other up. I think if you can get over the few negatives in this book then it is definitely worth the read!

I rated Beautifully Done with 4 leaves. This story has different main characters as the first novel. We do get to see the characters from the first story and there are some spoilers so read Beautifully Awake first!
Asher and Talia are the characters in this story. Asher is a complete bachelor who doesn't do relationships. Settling down is not his cup of tea.
Talia is a successful doctor who would like to be in a relationship but just hasn't found the right guy. They have a strong past because they were best friends years ago. Talia walked away after high school and didn't look back. Now, Talia is back and they are trying to figure things out. I had trouble with how quickly Talia was brought back into the mix. I felt like I didn't get enough background information on their situation.
Talia has been holding a big secret for all these years. Will she eventually let Asher in enough to tell him? Asher has been closed off. Will Talia be the girl to open him up? Check this book out as soon as you finished Beautifully Done.
~About the Authors~
It only took twelve years, two husbands, five kids, two dogs, and a two-week vacation in Cape Cod later to decide the romance world needed a splash of medicine. Write what you know.
When we are not working on our book or reading the latest angsty romance on our kindles, you basically name it and we have it going on. Soccer, lacrosse, golf, swimming, dance, gymnastics, football, chess, baseball, basketball, skiing, ice skating, school, homework, and more school.
Oh yeah, did we forget to mention our careers in medicine?
Needless to say, we realized fast that something had to go, so we opted for sleep. It’s completely overrated (yet so AMAZING) and delirium makes everything funnier. Good thing we share a brain and can pretty much complete each other’s sentences (definitely weird, we know), otherwise it might have taken us two years to write Beautifully Awake rather than one.
So that’s our story, who we are … just add AUTHORS to the list!
