Marz was playing with fire. He damn well knew he was. But that didn’t make him want to pull away. He just wanted more of the heat. Marz nuzzled the side of Emilie’s face with his nose, his lips. She turned her face toward him and offered her lips. He couldn’t refuse. Capturing her mouth on a tortured groan, Marz poured every ounce of his longing and confusion and desire into the kiss. They grasped at each other and Emilie turned in his arms. He pinned her against the railing and planted his hands in her hair. She opened to him and accepted his tongue, sucking him in until Marz’s blood ran hot and his hard-on ached. He ground himself against her and devoured every little moan and whimper and gasp she spilled. Trailing kisses from her mouth to her jaw to her ear, Marz dragged a hand down her body and grasped her breast in his palm. She cried out and her head dropped back, drawing his mouth to her neck, where he licked and sucked and nipped as he kneaded her soft flesh. “You are so damn sexy.” Her hand flew to his hair and grasped the back of his head. “Touch me,” she said. “Don’t stop touching me.” Marz pulled away long enough to do a three-sixty scan. The lighthouse cast a dark shadow over them, and the pier was otherwise empty. His heart raced and his pulse hammered. He dove back in, trailing kisses down her neck to her collarbone, which he traced with his tongue. Her nails scratched deliciously at his scalp and her grip urged him down. Through the thin material of her blouse and bra, he mouthed and flicked at her nipple. He shifted the deep vee of the neckline to reveal a lacy royal blue bra. He tongued her through the lace until she was panting and moaning and writhing against the railing. “Oh, my God,” she rasped as he shifted her shirt and moved to her other breast. This time, he tugged the lace down to bare the deep pink of her nipple. She tasted and smelled like something fruity and sweet, and it made Marz hunger for more. “Derek,” she gasped. “Yes, yes, yes.” Her palm cupped and squeezed the bulge of his erection through his jeans. His hips jerked into the touch, craving more of her, all of her. He groaned and it seemed to egg her on, because she pressed and rubbed her hand against his trapped cock until he was panting and imagining taking her down to the ground. “Jesus, Emilie, you’re driving me fucking crazy,” he said as he worked kisses back up her body to her mouth. “I know just what you mean,” she said. Her molten hot gaze met his. Eyes hooded, lips shiny and swollen, cheeks flushed, she was a freaking goddess standing under the moonlit sky. He felt the force of her beauty every bit as much in his chest as in his cock. “You sure about that, babe?” he asked as he took her mouth in a deep, wet kiss. “Because my imagination has me stripping you of those fuck-hot jeans.” “Yeah?” She rubbed his cock in a long stroke with the heel of her hand. “Mine has us getting a room at the hotel back there. So I’m sure,” she said with a smile. Marz’s heart hammered against his breastbone and his cock jerked, clearly liking her idea, too. Except, if he took her up on it, he was going to end up buried inside her for as long as she’d have him. And so long as this clusterfuck of a situation defined their relationship, he couldn’t take things that far. Could he?

"Letting Go" by Molly McAdams - Review + Giveaway

~*SYNOPSIS*~

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author returns with a sizzling novel of love, loss, guilt, and forgiveness.
Grey and Ben fell in love at thirteen and believed they’d be together forever. But three days before their wedding, the twenty-year-old groom-to-be suddenly died from an unknown heart condition, destroying his would-be-bride’s world. If it hadn’t been for their best friend, Jagger, Grey never would have made it through those last two years to graduation. He’s the only one who understands her pain, the only one who knows what it’s like to force yourself to keep moving when your dreams are shattered. Jagger swears he’ll always be there for her, but no one has ever been able to hold on to him. He’s not the kind of guy to settle down.
It’s true that no one has ever been able to keep Jagger—because he’s only ever belonged to Grey. While everyone else worries over Grey’s fragility, he’s the only one who sees her strength. Yet as much as he wants Grey, he knows her heart will always be with Ben. Still they can’t deny the heat that is growing between them—a passion that soon becomes too hot to handle. But admitting their feelings for each other means they’ve got to face the past. Is being together what Ben would have wanted . . . or a betrayal of his memory that will eventually destroy them both?

~*REVIEW BY ASHTON*~

I rate Letting Go by Molly McAdams
FIVE LEAVES!

About two years ago, I read Taking Chances; and as you FALLowers probably understand, I had two different reactions. The "this-book-is-so-freaking-good-I-can't-wait-to-tell-everyone" reaction and the "WHY? WHY? HOW COULD SHE?!" ***ugly cry***. While some have never finished that book, I have absorbed almost all of her other novels. What impresses me most about her stories is that she isn't afraid to take those risks others shy away from. Her characters are always well-rounded, and their stories always come with unexpected (and very realistic) twists.

Her newest novel did not disappoint, as I was hooked from the synopsis.

Grey, Ben, and Jagger were childhood friends; and as adolescents, Ben beat Jagger at sweeping Grey off her feet. Years later and days before their wedding, Ben suddenly dies and leaves behind a grieving fiancĂ© and best friend. Two years after that, Grey still hasn't let go, and Jagger is still by her side, falling more in love with her.

Once Grey learns of Jagger's affections and acknowledges her own feelings for him, the two struggle with defining their new relationship while honoring their best friend's memory. But a secret kept by their closest loved ones is unraveled and causes Grey and Jagger to question those honorable intentions.

Grey and Jagger's story is both heart-wrenching and heart-warming. Reading the scenes where they each visit Ben's grave is heartbreaking. Then reading their steamy scenes is just good ole' fashion romance fun.

Looking back on the story, I would have liked to have read more memories or flashbacks from when the three of them were younger. I wish I knew more about Ben and Grey's relationship and how Jagger had to hide his feelings all those years. But as I write this review, I can see how that would have taken away from the storyline of Grey and Jagger growing from friends into lovers.

The only downside to Letting Go is that you won't want to LET GO of Jagger. I would love nothing more than to read a happily ever after sequel with lots of ooey-gooey, salty-sweet, hot and steamy Jagger scenes. Seriously. It can be a whole book full of Jagger, and I will be a happy girl.

Letting Go... another hit from Molly McAdams.

Ride, Thrash & Rev by J.C Emery Review

~*SYNOPSIS*~
Death comes in Armani. Salvation comes in leather.

Principessa to the Mancuso crime family, Alexandra knows a thing or two about living outside the bounds of the law. Suffocated by the future her father has laid out for her, she makes a choice she can't take back, changing the entire trajectory of her life.

Thrust into the dark and dangerous world of the Forsaken Motorcycle Club for her own protection, Alex finds herself faced with the last thing she needs right now: the man of her dreams. He’s sex in leather, the devil incarnate, and one hell of a kisser. But he’s also off-limits. Ryan Stone can be her friend, but he’s forbidden to be her lover.

Third-generation Forsaken, Ryan knows nothing other than life on two wheels, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He enjoys the many privileges that come with the patch, and the only laws he recognizes are the ones set-forth by his club. That is, until who he wants more than anything isn’t allowed on the back of his bike —or in his bed. Balancing his desire for her body, and need to keep her safe, Ryan tries to keep Alex at a distance. Finally having made a choice for herself, she’s done hearing the word “no” and will push boundaries even Ryan himself doesn’t dare cross.

Love is never more tempting than when it’s forbidden.

~*SYNOPSIS*~
Loneliness suffocates the heart. Acceptance breaks down walls.

As a Lost Girl to the Forsaken Motorcycle Club, Nicole Whelan knows how to party. She’s not cut-out for relationships and her life is way too complicated for anything more than casual encounters. But one night when she falls into Duke’s bed at the clubhouse, he sees something in her that he can’t let go of—no matter how many times she tries to run.

Having been left to raise her teenage brother, Jeremy, she’s already got her hands full and isn’t looking for anymore complications. But Duke’s just watched his best friend fall for the only girl he couldn’t have, and then almost lose her so shortly after, shaking him to his core. Faced with his own loneliness, he’s more determined than ever to break down Nic’s walls and show her that he can be good for her; but he’s got a bad track record and she’s got a bad temper. Changing his ways isn’t easy when he’s not sure what he’s even changing for.

The violence and turmoil are at an all-time high, and Forsaken is in a vulnerable place when a twist of fate breathes new life into the club. It’s a much-needed beacon of hope for the embattled biker family, even if everyone’s not exactly on board. With Duke and Nic’s relationship already on shaky ground, and something even more important at stake, the Forsaken Motorcycle Club will fight like hell to keep their family together and whole.

Love is never more precious than when it’s new.

~*SYNOPSIS*~
Everyone belongs somewhere. Even the misfits.

With the looming threat from the Mancuso Crime Family, the Forsaken Motorcycle Club is preparing for a war that could destroy them. Grady, the club’s Sergeant-at-Arms, knows that love makes you weak, and he has zero interest in adding to his liabilities– especially now. He’s already got his teenage daughter who keeps him on his toes and a beef within the club that could fracture his relationship with a fellow brother for good.

For Holly Mercer, her life is finally getting on track and the last thing she wants is trouble from her hometown’s resident outlaws. Keeping her nose clean is easier said than done, when suddenly she finds herself embroiled in club business. Holly might like the idea of being with a real-life bad boy, but even being in the same room with tough-as-nails Grady flusters her.

When Holly inadvertently finds herself on Mancuso’s radar, she has two choices: trust that Grady will protect her, or continue to refuse the club’s help. Both roads are dangerous, but only one has the chance to damage her beyond repair.

Love is never more dangerous than when it can destroy you.

Ride: Alex and Ryan

First of all, I'm an absolute sucker for a Romeo/Juliet dichotomy, so this book was basically a slam dunk for me! I'm giving Ride four leaves! Alex is the prinicipessa of the Italian mob; Ryan is a young rider for a California motorcycle club that's been charged with taking care of her after she becomes an unintentional rat. So what ensues? Heartbreak and true love, that's what, Fallers. They have to go through a lot of drama and a lot of heartbreak (and I mean a LOT), but in the end, the simmering chemistry between Alex and Ryan is too much--even if it means risking the censure of Ryan's club. What happens in the end, Fallers, is up to you to find out, but the hot, gut-wrenching ride (look--I made a pun!) is totally worth the read.

Thrash: Nic and Duke

Nic's been a Lost Girl for the club ever since she became an adult--and ever since then, Duke's been chasing her, trying to get her out of his system--he's always been drawn to her, and his (sometimes questionable) devotion to her is what scored book two of this series three and a half leaves! Much like Alex and Ryan, Duke and Nic don't really know what they're doing--they're drawn to each other, but they don't know why. And frankly, neither of them is happy about it. It would be so much better for everyone if they were attracted to other people. But when was that ever the fun way to begin a love story, Fallers? Nic and Duke are my favorite of this trio, and I think you'll root for them as much as I did!

Rev: Holly and Grady

They usually save the best for last, don't they Fallers? Grady and Holly's story is no different, and I'm rating it four leaves! Let me tell you Fallers, this story takes the cake. It's got revenge, true love, insiders vs. outsiders--let's just say it's got everything. It packs a wallop--for a little while (during the twist, which you know I won't tell you about because spoilers), I wasn't sure our anti-hero and heroine were both going to make it out alive. The fear was very real in this one, which just made the romance that much more palpable and sweet--this story seems short on sweet. But when it's there, it packs a punch and delivers.

~*EXCERPT*~

“You’re killing me, Belinda.” He cups my ass, lifting me off the floor, and he walks with me into my bedroom. “I have to touch all of you.”

“You forgot your T-shirt.” I wave my arm. He’s left it on the kitchen floor.

“Passion is messy, love.” Hawke kicks the door shut behind us and tosses me onto the center of the bed. I bounce. He yanks off his jeans, the buttons popping.

I gaze at him with open admiration, excitement unfurling low in my stomach. He kicks off his boots and strips naked in mere seconds, his cock fully erect, jutting from a base of neatly trimmed brown curls. He’s huge and aroused and mine, his scars attesting to his violent career, his savage nature.

The future is uncertain. We might have only tonight, this one moment. I spread my thighs in a clear invitation and he stalks toward me, his eyes darkening to a brilliant blue. The curtains are open and the storm continues to rage. All of my focus is on him, my tattooed biker, my tortured military man.

I reach out, wrap my fingers around his shaft, and he jerks. “Easy,” I coo, comforting him as I would comfort a wild beast. “Let me touch you.” I cup his balls, weighing them, rolling him in my hands. Hawke’s lips flatten and his eyelids lower as he stands straight and still beside the bed.

I pump him with one hand as I explore the cascade of defined flesh over his abdominal muscles, the indent of his hipbones, the power of his upper thighs, committing every scar, every inch of him to memory.

A dab of precum forms on his cock head. I look upward and our gazes meet. My intentions must reflect in my eyes because a strangled noise originates from deep in Hawke’s throat. I slowly extend my tongue and flick the tip over him, tasting his unique flavor. His cock bobs. His hands, held by his side, clench into massive fists.

It’s not enough. I lick my lips, savoring him, needing more. Hawke’s eyes widen, his gaze fixed on my mouth as I push my flesh over his, taking his cock head into my heat. I prod his slit, tease his rim, slap his shaft with the flat of my tongue.

“Fuck, love. You’re slaying me.” He shakes, beads of sweat pearling on his golden skin, adding sparkle and shine. Hawke doesn’t need clothing. His huge form is best displayed nude, covered only with the remnants of desire.

I suck on his cock head and then release him. “You’ll survive.” I repeat the words he often says to me and gently squeeze his balls.

I rated Sinful Rewards 5 by Cynthia Sax FIVE LEAVES!!!

Seriously, Cynthia Sax can do no wrong in my eyes, at least when it comes to this amazing series! This is the fifth installment that is a love triangle between, billionaire Nicholas, and the bad boy tattooed biker, Hawke trying to win the heart of the lovely girl named Bee. In book four we learned that Bee has become unemployed and Lona has offer a lunch meeting for her and it does not go as good as planned. Friendly makes yet another appearance in this book! I am just going to go ahead and say it, even though we have 6 more books until the end, I want Bee and Hawke together.  I fell so in love with him in this book, that I don't want her to be with Nicholas.  I now see Nicholas as a close friend, but I don't see him and Bee being lovers.  I guess, we shall see. I could be completely wrong and that will be okay in my eyes because, Cynthia Sax knows how to write a great story and no matter it will be amazing.

~*REVIEW BY LO*~
I rated Unexpected with FOUR LEAVES. This was my first book by Mann and I enjoyed it. I loved the writing style and was hooked from the beginning. I didn't read the first book in this series so I wasn't sure what I was getting into but I loved it.

Karly is waitressing to make ends meet and to help out with her little sister who is left in an abusive home. Randy has a son who he can't see because of an ex who won't let him around. Karly and Randy come together and lean on each other in their times of need.
I'm definitely interested in this series and I can't wait to go back and read book one and I'm already looking forward to book two. Make sure you get both books and start them today!!
