me start off by saying this-I CANNOT wait for the companion novel! This
is the type of book you will not be able to put down because there
is never a pause. I can not think of one negative thing
that is wrong with this book!! Maybe a few of Sam's choices, but
heck, no one is perfect, and that is what the book is about in the
first place.
Samantha
and Aiden have been married for ten years. They started to have a
rough patch when they were trying to conceive and it wasn't working out
for them. They started to drift apart because they were so upset
about the situation. Sam started to feel unloved and alone. She had feelings of her husband being just a roommate. Sam is an author! I thought that was so cool! When she is off at
one of her book signings, she runs into Jacob Matthews.
Jacob was her first love and high school sweetheart. She picks up the
feelings she had for him way back then. They start to text, flirt, and
email each other. Then the big event happens!! Do they continue this
relationship in person? Does Sam cheat on her husband?
Just
like everyone in this world, I do not condone cheating! It's the worst
feeling in the world, and nothing good comes out of it. In Love Square,
you don't really feel like it's bad!! Sam knows she should not want
Jacob but she can not help herself. While she knows it is best to stay
away from him, she can not help the way she feels anymore than Jacob
can. And
the chemistry
between Sam and Jacob is nothing short of electric. We figure out why it's called love square towards the end of to
the book. Great story, angst, and a slight taste of mystery!!! Sam, Aiden, & Jacob's story covers just about every emotion you can
imagine.
