I stroked
his leg under the table with my foot. “Oh,” I moaned, making my voice airy and
breathless. “Is the food orgasmic?”
He smiled,
a curve of his sculpted mouth. “You enjoy torturing me, don’t you?”
Yes, I did.
I took great pleasure in watching him squirm when I gave him blue veined
throbbers out in public. And I found it especially amusing when he told me he
pictured playing mini golf with his grandmother whenever he had to tame the
rumbling in his loins.
“Why?” I
lowered my voice and feigned innocence. “Do you have a hard-on right now?”
Grinning
with just enough arrogance to make him look sexy, he reclined in his seat and
said coolly, “Nah. That’s my dick normally. Huge, right?”
“You poor
thing.” My shoulders lifted with laughter. “Is your stiffy giving you a hernia?
Don’t worry, all you need to do is tuck and duck and I’ll try not to laugh.”
“Miss Frost,” he chided “behave yourself.”

~*REVIEW BY JODIE RAE*~
I rated Julian's Pursuit FIVE LEAVES!!!
I rated Julian's Pursuit FIVE LEAVES!!!
Julian's Pursuit features Julian, Vivian’s brother from Vivian’s List and Liam’s List. I have always wondered
about Julian since Vivian’s List, where we meet Julian for
the first time. He isn’t really in the two previous books, but I
loved how he was such a great big brother to Vivian. You couldn’t help wondering about him and his story.
This is a standalone novel so you do not need to read Vivian’s List
and Liam’s List but if I were you, I would! I absolutely love Haleigh Lovell’s
writing. I find her books contain
the most beautiful characters who I easily fall in love with and this
story was no exception. I cherished the
characters in this book and found the story to be one the sweetest that I have
read in a while.
The
first thing I wanted to comment about this new book by Haleigh is that the male
character is not overly dramatic and he’s not hiding anything major. He is
just a normal guy; that is totally swoon worthy. I feel Haleigh’s writing is so
mature and easy to read.
This book is about Julian quitting the army and starting to
work in advertising where he meets Sadie Frost. Sadie is a single mom with a six year old son,
Evan. Evan has some medical problems since birth and she needs to be strong for him. Sadie is a hard person to crack open. She has her walls built up so high that no
one is ever going to try to tear them down.
Julian is the perfect guy to break the walls down.
