Lacy Weston… or is it Campbell? Hell her husband took off so fast he may as well take his name with him. Kyle McClintock is back in Primrose to shoot his latest western blockbuster and to see if the passion he and Lacy Weston had so many years ago could be reclaimed. Yes, he had ulterior motives when requesting his old hometown for the set, but he may get more than he bargained for. Strange happenings, hot tempers and Indian summer nights may prove too much for this cowboy.

Nobody ever said it was easy loving a Weston.

 

I rated Lacy:The Doves of Primrose with FOUR LEAVES! I was very pleasantly surprised with this book. The blurb just does not do it justice. Lacy is a newly divorced country gal running her family owned Bed & Breakfast. The B&B is having financial issues and she is doing her best to keep it a float. Lacy receives the offer of a lifetime when her ex-boyfriend from high school, turned famous actor, returns to town. Kyle McClintock's next movie is to be filmed in their home town and they want to use her B&B for the filming. This also comes with a hefty offering of money. Lacy and Kyle left things between then badly so this gathering definitely stirred up bitter memories.

This story was interesting because we got to find out what exactly happened between the two so many years ago. We also are able to see what will happen from this point on. The book also has an unexpected twist which I was not ready for. Not to give anything away, but it was a welcomed changed in events for this story. Nothing is better than a home town sweetheart turned movie star. This book will give you just that. I recommend this book to everyone!
