~*SYNOPSIS*~
Adam James is a corn-fed, Nebraska raised, piece of man meat with a chiseled body and baby face. He is in desperate need of a paycheck and will do just about anything to get one, including stripping down to his skivvies and lathering up in baby oil. Solo Cohan is a quirky hipster with a strong work ethic, raised by two gay dads who are head over heels in love with Harrison Ford and Star Wars, hence the name, Solo. She works for Teeg Model Management, the same modeling agency that decides to book Adam as their next up and coming model. Sparks ignite between her and Adam the minute her baby oil soaked hand connects with his practically naked body. Even though Solo can't stop thinking about Adam during photo shoots, she quickly and awkwardly, shows Adam her distaste for male models and her inability to engage romantically with them. Adam is captivated by her nerdy talk and peculiar tendencies and sets out to make it his mission to turn the Star Wars loving hipster to the dark side, where mingling with models is widely arousing.

The book had me hooked from the first page. It’s a little different than what I have been reading lately, which seems to be dark craziness.  But this book is absolutely funny!! If you're after something light-hearted, a little drama, a book that will keep you smiling, then you need to check this FIVE LEAVES book out!!

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped. Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking. Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Perfect Imperfections by Cardeno C

~*SYNOPSIS*~
Hollywood royalty Jeremy Jameson has lived a sheltered life with music as his sole focus and only friend. Before embarking on yet another international concert tour, he wanders into a bar in what he considers the middle of nowhere and meets a man who wins him over with his friendly smile and easy-going nature. Accountant slash bartender slash adventure-seeker Reg Moore has fun talking and drinking with The Jeremy Jameson and can’t say no when the supposedly straight rock star makes him a once in a lifetime offer: keep him company on his tour by playing the part of his boyfriend.

Listening to music, traveling the world, and jumping off cliffs is fun. Falling in love is even better. But to stay with Jeremy after the stage lights dim, Reg will need to help him realize there’s nothing pretend about their relationship.

Perfect Imperfections was a really great read. It had enough romance to keep you interested but it was short and sweet at the same time. This book is M/M and I think the author did a great job with her characters. Jeremy Jameson is Hollywood royalty not only because of his fame with his music but because his family also came from Hollywood. After an unsatisfying sex life with women he just wants something normal; a connection with someone who can actually put up with him and his prissy ways. Enter Reggie Moore, the bartender who treats him as a person instead of the music star he is. Reggie is quick to call him out on his stuff and take him in when Jeremy is too drunk to walk. Back at Reggie’s place Jeremy starts to realize that it’s been a long time since he has had a conversation with someone who wasn’t just talking to him for the press, someone who he actually enjoys shooting the shit with. When Jeremy throws out the idea that he could use Reggie as his “pretend” boyfriend on tour, Reggie informs him that if he can remember the idea in the morning then he would jump at the chance to travel the world. When Jeremy wakes up the next day feeling like crap, he brings up the idea again and is happy that Reggie agrees. What neither one of them realized was that this would be the start of something incredible for both men. While Reggie is there for Jeremy emotionally, he also starts to be there for him physically. Little by little Reggie starts to realize that no straight man would be okay with the amount of affection Jeremy needs without being gay, so Reggie decides that he will let Jeremy figure it out himself and be there for him once he comes out. As emotions and desires start take over the men, outside problems start to arise and they will need band together and decide if staying together is worth it or if the world Jeremy knows will destroy it. I highly enjoyed this read and would definitely recommend this read as a quick and sexy read.
