Quincy Priest made all the right choices in her small town, black-and-white life. But being perfect is tiring. So. Very. Tiring.

Wanting desperately to step out of her sister's shadow, Quincy jumps at the opportunity to attend college with her best friend. The quiet bookworm with family secrets comes out of her shell. But when Quincy meets not one, but two perfect guys, she has to make a choice. In doing so, she might forfeit the relationship she secretly longed to find.

Declan. Sweet, handsome, and perfect. He makes her feel cherished for the first time in her life.

Brody. Sexy, hot, and irresistible. He could tear down her carefully built walls.

Before she can become the woman she wants to be, Quincy will make mistakes. And suffer one unimaginable loss.

“I could stay here forever if you always looked at me just like that.” I don’t understand what he means, but I can’t take my eyes off him. “Everything.” His voice deepens while he looks into my eyes. “I like everything about you, Quince. I like the way those little wisps of hair frame your face. I love your eyes, so deep I get lost i...n them. Those lips I can’t resist. But I like you, Quince. The first time I saw you, I was drawn to you. I knew right then that you would turn my world upside down. It scared the hell out of me, but I knew I’d follow you anywhere.” He just made me feel beautiful, really beautiful, for the first time in my life.
There are no words for that. Instead, I wrap my arms around his neck and roughly kiss him. I twist my fingers in his hair and wonder why I haven’t done that before. Besides his eyes, his hair is the sexiest thing about him. But it’s what he hides on the inside that I so desperately want to see.

Choices captured my heart, trapped my soul, had me on the edge of my seat crying my eyes out, left me breathless and SOOO in love.

I rated Choices Five Beautiful Leaves! I remember adding this book to my Goodreads on April 25. It had been on my radar for a while, and I was so glad when I finally got my hands on this book! I crave a good love triangle done right. The plotlines of Bella/Edward/Jacob in Twilight and Kiera/Denny/Kyle in Thoughtless were perfect for me.  Sometimes an author just does a sucky job with love triangles. The girl tends to be annoying, and it feels like the story drags on with added words because the girl can't choose. Choices tops every love triangle out there. It soars above with so much emotion and true love that wraps around your heart.

Quincy (love that name) leaves home to go to college believing its time to live her life. She leaves behind parents and a sister that suffers from bi-polar. Quincy believes she will have enough distance to start living, but when she arrives at college with her best friend Jenna, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by two different sexy fraternity brothers.

I love the two men vying for Quincy’s heart. It was why they cared for her that I loved so much. I devoured the sexy and sizzling moments Brody and Quincy had, and absorbed the sweet, tender moments Quincy and Declan had. My stomach went through knots with their heartache and then butterflies through their passion! As I read this story, I pictured the Salvatore brothers from Vampire Diaries as the characters, because they are so sexy! Let's talk about each of the boys in detail. From the moment ‘Dream Guy’ (I don't want to reveal his name) was introduced into the story, I was hooked on him. I cried happy tears at the end!

Brody- Let's just say he makes my heart beat wildly. Brody is the guy you want to be around, because he is drop-dead sexy. The bad boy you can't resist. The words that come out of his mouth just creates drool!

Declan- He is the sweetest guy. He is responsible and passionate. He is your Prince Charming. He is your comfortable guy. The guy that is going to be stable and know how to handle any situation.   It cut my heart into pieces to see the ‘Other Guy suffer, but Dream Guy and Quincy are meant to be together.   The only complaint I have about this story is that I wish we could have read maybe a little more on the ‘Other Guy and Quincy.

Choices  is well written, full of engaging and relatable characters. And those guys...Brody and Declan... Seriously, do I really have to choose? Can't I just have them both? This story has just the right amount of drama topped with great dialogue, heartache, love, and a story you will never forget. I'm very impressed with Sydney Lane and her debut novel!
