The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan Review

Fit, masculine, educated male, late-20’s.

Discreet and forthcoming.

Under my direction and guidance women learn seduction techniques, how to achieve climax with and without a partner, explore physical gratification, and more.

Dominant, but don’t be scared, kitten, I’m not into pain.

Do not be misled. I am pure mischief. But I’m the best kind of trouble.

So, what do you say? Do you feel like being naughty?

I take a minute to survey her. She’s petite, just like I imagined her. Brunette. Big blue eyes whose gaze drifts between mine and the floor as if she doesn’t know where to look. There must be some goddamn mistake, because there’s no way she’d need any help attracting a man. But if it’s my help she wants, I won’t refuse her.

“May I?” I ask, pulling out the seat next to her and moving toward it. She’s timid, and I need to remember my manners.

“Please,” she says. “I’m Brielle.”

“No names.”

“Everyone calls me Brie, though.” She twists her hands in her lap.

“Sweetheart?” I say, and her gaze darts up to mine. “I said no names.”

“Oh. I’m sorry.” She swallows down her nerves. “But what should I call you?”

“You may call me Dom.”

Our gazes connect, and a flash of desire pools low in my spine. Fucking hell. This should be interesting.

First off, I am a huge Kendall Ryan fan! I finally got to meet her at the Austin Book Fest and I could not even talk because I was just so happy to finally meet one of my favorite authors! I absolutely love all of Kendall's books and the characters she develops. At this point I feel like I am always thinking of her characters after reading her books. Every book I read by Kendall I fall more in love with the stories. From the moment I read the blurb about this story, I was intrigued! Once I started reading this book I devoured it in one setting. Let's just say, I stayed up until the early morning hours to finish!!  I think this might be my favorite book by Kendall Ryan so far!

Brielle has been in love with her best friend Kirby for five years but he only sees her as his friend.  After a few years of not dating Brielle is in a funk and is wanting to win Kirby over. Brielle really lacks experince in the sexual department and she logs into a website to see if she can find someone to help with her problem.  She finds herself on a dating website and locates an intriguing personal ad she knows will help her. After a few messages The Gentleman Mentor, Hale, and Brielle agree to meet up. Right from the initial meeting, Hale is drawn to the fascinating, beautiful, and down-to-earth Brielle. He couldn't help himself; he wanted to be the one to help Brielle with her Kirby problem.

Where do I start with Hale? He is such a dirty talker that it made me just go... wow.  I loved that the book was dual POV because I loved being in Hale's mind.  Hale, was really hurt in a previous relationship and now he loves helping woman achieving what they are wanting to learn.  Hale is not looking for anything more than some nice bedroom sexy times but meeting Brielle awakens something in him.

I loved every minute of The Gentleman Mentor, because it’s really sensual and a fast pace read (and just pure entertainment). The plot is great and absolutely beautiful, light and full of love;  yet passionate and easy to follow. I seriously and immensely enjoyed Kendall Ryan’s new book.
