I absolutely could not put Temper for You down, Fallers. And because of that I give it FIVE STARS.
Frankly,
there's really not a whole lot to complain about. Before I launch into
the absolutely glowing review I'm about to give this book, if you
haven't read the previous two books in the series, I highly suggest you
do. There are a few plot points that are a tiny bit hazy, and there are
some other relationships in the book (both Hunter and Everleigh and
Griffin and Sam) that you'll want to know the backstory to. It's not
completely necessary, but I went back and ended up reading the previous
two books when I was done with this one, and I loved knowing everyone's
full story. My only other complaint is that I wish this book was longer.
Because I absolutely did not want it to.
Onward
and upward, Fallers. Here goes the review: Westley and Meg aren't what
you'd call best friends. They're really not what you would call friends,
either. But after an incredibly bumpy start, lawyer Westley, a bad boy
with a heart of gold (and aren't those the best kind of bad boy?),
convinces Meg to give him a second chance--which results in him carrying
her out of the bar and having his deliciously wicked way with her. One
of the best parts of this book is that after Meg and Westley get
together (read: have torrid sex many, many times), they don't instantly
fall in love with each other. They hang out, they have dinner, they get
to know one another, and you get to watch them fall for each other a
little more every time.
But there's one thing
blocking Meg and Westley's seemingly bright future: Meg's past. She
won't tell anyone about it, and it's catching up with her. In fact, it's
put her on a timeline to leave her budding romance with Westley,
school, and her friends behind. Will Meg's self-sacrifice ruin what she
has with Westley? Well I obviously can't tell you that because that
would be spoiling the end. But Fallers, you HAVE to read this one and
find out.
