Worth It (Forbidden Men #6) by Linda Kage Review

Worth It
Forbidden Men #6

By Linda Kage

~*SYNOPSIS*~

I fell in love once.
It was amazing. She was amazing. Life was amazing.
I lived for each time I could see her, and nothing else mattered, not that our families were enemies, our time together was forbidden, or we had to meet in secret.
Our love could conquer all.
Until it didn't.

So I was ripped away from the love of my life and shoved into hell, forced to continue without her.
It shattered me, broke the best parts of me, left me permanently damaged.

Or so I thought.
Years later, I swear history’s trying to repeat itself because she’s back in my life, and I’m just as drawn to her as I was before. But I'm older and wiser now, and I know she should stay away from a worthless piece of ex-con like me.
So, I will not let her in. I absolutely refuse to hurt her. I will keep her away.
Then again, sometimes risking your greatest fear to get to a smile makes everything worth it, and besides, I’m not sure I can resist her, anyway.
This is the story of how Felicity Bainbridge changed my life forever, starting one summer day long ago after I was forced to change a dirty diaper...

~*REVIEW BY JODIE RAE*~

Worth It is book number six in the Forbidden Men Series by Linda Kage. Every book in this series just keeps getting better and better. Noel and Aspen (To Professor, with Love) were my favorite couple from this series....until now. Worth It is my new favorite story and hosts my favorite couple. This story was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this lovely story for who those looking for an exquisitely-written story that will tug at your heart strings and will give you all the feels. Worth It is a sweet and sexy second chance romance. There are a couple of things that I have a soft spot for: men out of prison and second chance romance.  Combine the two and it makes a FIVE LEAVES review!

In Worth It we have Knox Parker and Felicity Bainbridge, meeting six years ago.  The story is told from the past when they were teenagers to the present.  It is written in Knox and Felicity POV's.  It is a known thing that the Parker's and the Bainbridge's do not get along and they do not run in the same social circles.  When Knox and Felicity literally run into each other, they start seeing each other in secret. At the end of summer their short but forever love comes to a halt.

Six years later, Knox is out of prison and he is not the same teenage boy he use to be.  Felicity and Knox are thrown together through the Forbidden Nightclub.  I love how in the series that all of the Forbidden Men are connected in some way or another and how the leading ladies in this story are always there for their girlfriends and their men. Felicity is just like the other women, she's fighting for her man.  Felicity wants to help Knox fight his inner demons so they can have what they always dreamed about having: their happily ever after. This story had so much depth to looking at how the choices made in life can and will effect not just the person making them, but the people around them.

This was so hard for me to write a review.  I want the most perfect words for this review because I wanted to give it justice. The story is full of gut wrenching moments, seriously heartfelt, and showcases the forever kind of love that you only wish you could have for yourself.  I could not put this book down and when I finished it I was hugging my Kindle because I fell so in love with this story.  Linda Kage has written a beautiful book that brings the feels I ache for as a reader. I am so eager and thrilled for the next book in this series so I can finally read about Asher Hart!
