The Voyeur Next Door by Airicka Phoenix Review

~*SYNOPSIS*~
He lived next door.
Alison Eckrich was an expert at being invisible. Having been raised by a mother who saw only flaws, she had learned long ago to watch and never participate. Until him. He was gorgeous from what little she could make out through his bathroom window and he awakened things inside her she had always been told was wrong. But she didn’t care.
She was addicted.
Gabriel Madoc was no stranger to the cold sting of betrayal. His broken heart had left him hard and bitter and that was how he liked it. Until her. She was a vision in the soft twilight. Everything about her called to him. It didn’t even matter he couldn’t see her face.
He wanted her.

~*REVIEW BY JODIE RAE*~
The year 2015 will go down in history as the year of discovering amazing new authors.  This is the first book I have read by Airicka Phoenix and after reading this fabulous book, I know it will not be my last!  As soon as I read the blurb I knew I had to read this book! Once I started to read this book, I was hooked by the end of the first page.  This book is full of emotions which make you connect easily to the characters and the writing style was superb.

I fell in love with every single character in this book and I never wanted the book to end.  I could easily read more about each person in this book. This book is full of steamy, sexual chemistry that it should seriously come with it's own warning label!
I feel like I have read every taboo book under the sun but I have to admit that I have not read a lot of voyeurism and exhibitionist stories.  Voyeurism is when someone is "spying" on someone who is watching them in a sexual behavior and they receive sexual gratification from watching. An exhibitionism is when a person is exposing their body for someone to be watching them.

One of my favorite pastimes is, people watching! I felt so connected to the introverted Ali Eckrich, because we have so much in common! Ali has always been an outsider and enjoys watching others from a far. Ali is very observant about everyone around her and avoids people as much as she can. Ali has learned from her past that it is easier for her to enjoy life by herself than having to interact with people.

Ali has been searching for a job for awhile and she comes in contact with a sweet elder man named, Earl, who offers her a job at the body-shop that he owns. This is where the sexy, damaged Gabriel Madoc comes into the picture.  Gabriel is the grandson of Earl. He does not like Ali but finally agrees to hire her. Ali has one condition before starting, she has to be home every night at six. Every night Ali finds herself watching her neighbors on her patio.  As Ali is doing her normal routine she spots her new neighbor across the street, Q aka Gabriel.  As Q and Ali start a sexual relationship, it helps each of them out in more ways than one. Q and Ali do not know they actually know each other in real life and start to grow a relationship that they thought they could never have with someone. They are alike in so many ways and both have their own secrets.

In the end, this is a great read that I want to recommenced to everyone!
