This is example how much I love this series. There is not a story as
strong or more important than this series is to me. If I could read
only one series for the rest of my life and it would be this series. I
feel like I could learn something every time I read it.
Let's
rewind back to November 2013 to one of my favorite books from last
year- Vivian's List by Haleigh Lovell. I wanted to re-read Vivian's List
before I started on Liam's List so I can enjoy each and every word
again.
Let
me summarize the first book in a couple of sentences for y'all!! Liam
is on leave military service in Iraq and he is staying with his best
friend's sister, Vivian. Vivian has been in a not so good
relationship. Liam comforts Vivian about her relationship with her
boyfriend and makes Vivian open her eyes and dump him. Brody, Vivian's
ex-boyfriend called her 'frigid' and that just did not set well with
her. Vivian decides to create a sexual bucket list, which
Liam finds. Liam offers to be her teacher and let's just say he is an
AMAZING teacher. He teaches her so much about love, sex, and life.
Liam heals Vivian's heart and mind and teaches her what really is love.
Liam and Vivian are back. What a journey they are on in this wonderful sequel, Liam's List! I
am so in love with Liam's and Vivian's story. This is a wonderful
story of overcoming difficult things in the name of love. I
don't even know where to begin...this book reached inside my heart, grabbed
hold and refused to let go. Even now, after reading the words "the
end", I'm still wanting more of their story.
As Liam is fighting for our country, they are missing each other like
crazy. When Liam comes home from being injured it changes both Liam and
Vivian. Liam is experiencing PTSD. Vivian is such a strong woman and
does not throw in the towel. She embraces it all to help Liam. This book
is packed to the brink with so many topics such as love, friendship,
loss, integrity, and self discovery. What
an inspirational story, as well as a wonderful love story; the events
and plot will stay with me for a long time. This is a
HOT HOT sexy book with a deep emotional love story. At the end
of the book, I shed a couple of good tears.
This
is an excellent read with great character developed and wonderful
plot! You will not be disappointed with this series! The author does a
great job handling PTSD and challenges of the story without it being too depressing. Haleigh Lovell is one to watch...I guarantee she's going to be a household name one day.
