BOOK REVIEW: Perfectly Damaged by E.L. Montes + Giveaway

Author: E.L. Montes
Book Title: Perfectly Damaged
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Stand-alone Novel

Schizoaffective disorder: a mental illness in which a person experiences a combination of mood disorder and schizophrenia symptoms.
I know about this illness—very well—because I suffer from it. It’s been four years since my diagnosis, and ever since, I’ve been living in a dark hole. Voices constantly invading my thoughts. Hallucinations. All of which force me to question if what I’m experiencing is even reality.
But here I am, still hanging on, still breathing and living through it.
That is, until he stumbled into my life. Logan Reed. I don’t want any part of him. I’ve pushed him away, but he isn’t easily deterred. I’ve told him I’m different, but he doesn’t care. He’s trying to slowly break me down. I’m trying just as hard not to let him. He doesn’t know how truly damaged I am; what will happen when he does?
I know the truth—he’ll never be able to look at me the same way again. Just like everybody else.

5 FANTASTIC LOGAN AND JENNA STARS
Oh my goodness…I have no words.  I am officially speechless.. Trust me that is not easy to do.  It is difficult for me to write, because are no words that I can use to explain how amazing the book is.  Perfectly Damaged is such a beautiful story.  This book has great characters and an incredible plot.  I loved it so much.  Perfectly Damaged, in my opinion, the best book of 2014!
I loved this book from page one; the prologue hooked me immediately.  I was  instantly sucked in not only by Jenna's life, but by Logan's charismatic, playful, sexy demeanor. You can add him to your Book Boyfriend list right next to the swoon worthy Marcus DeLuca, because he's very worthy of being added to the list. There is just something free and contagious about his personality. Logan felt so real to me and I easily connected with him.  Logan is the type of male character everybody cannot help falling in love with. He can't be put in a package or into one label.  He's far from perfect but his patience and understanding, are just what Jenna needs in her life. Logan had an amazing personality and it made him much attractive in my eyes. Jenna and Logan's relationship was my favorite thing about this book. They both opened up more around each other and I believe they became better people because they were in each other’s lives. Okay, enough about me gushing over Logan.  Let's get on to the book and about Jenna.  Jenna lives with Schizoaffective disorder, a mental disorder that runs her life.  This book is full of grief, pain, love, and dealing with Jeanna’s mental illness.  Jenna was diagnosed with her mental illness and shortly after she lost the most important person in her life, her sister Brooke. I was a complete mess, full of emotions while reading this book.  I felt like I was living through everything Jenna went through.  It just shows how amazing this author is.  This story made me want to reach in and save these characters so badly.  I wish I could take the pain away from Jenna.

I can't forget to mention the supporting characters in this book. Oh, how I loved Charlie. I just thought she was hilarious.  She is the ultimate best friend to Jenna and I am so glad that they both have each other.

I HIGHLY recommend this book.  I was in a reading slump before I picked up this book and it's just what I needed to get out of my slump.  This is an incredible moving, thought-provoking read.  I was and still am so invested in these characters.  The ending left me an emotional mess; crying like a big baby, screaming (you will know the part I am talking about when you read this book), craving more. I hope  there is a short novella written so we can see what happens with the characters.
