BOOK REVIEW: To Professor, With Love by Linda Kage + Giveaway

To Professor, With Love
Forbidden Men #2
By: Linda Kage

Junior in college. Star athlete. Constant attention from the opposite sex.

On this campus, I’m worshiped. While seven hundred miles away, back in my hometown, I’m still trailer park trash, child of the town tramp, and older sibling to three kids who are counting on me to keep my shit together so I can take them away from the same crappy life I grew up in.

These two opposing sides of myself never mix until one person gets a glimpse of the true me. I never expected to connect with anyone like this or want more beyond one night. This may be the real deal.

Problem is, Dr. Kavanagh’s my literature professor.

If I start anything with a teacher and we’re caught together, I might as well kiss my entire future goodbye, as well as my family’s, and especially Dr. Kavanagh’s. Except sometimes love is worth risking everything. Or at least, it damn well better be because I can only resist so much.

"It's always the one you shouldn't want that you end up wanting the most."

I rated To Professor, with Love FIVE LEAVES!! A forbidden love story about a professor and a student...is doomed before it begins, yet you have high hopes.

Student/professor stories usually fit one model:  the professor is usually the guy.  In this book is that Aspen (female) is the professor and Noel (male) is the student.  This book was so different from your typical teacher-Student-forbidden-love story, which got my blood pumping.  There's something thrilling about the forbidden, secretive aspect of these relationships.

I loved that Aspen and Noel were wonderfully refreshing heroine and hero characters. They were realistic and smart and didn't make stupid decisions. The writing was one of the best parts of this book.  The author entwines words together so effortlessly that the words easily turn into imagines of your mind.  The entire book unfolds before you like a movie and it was unbelievable!! Linda Kage got me so very addicted in the first line and the addiction did not stop until the very last word.

The book is just simply amazing, I fell in love with Noel and Aspen, and wanted them to be together from the beginning to the end.  I loved how the book was told in dual POV and it truly showed Noel as a great and sexy guy! To me these characters are a match made in heaven.  I think they are very suitable for each other.  All the supporting characters were written very well, they had depth and it makes me excited for the next book in this series!

Linda grew up on a dairy farm in the Midwest as the youngest of eight children. Now she lives in Kansas with her husband, toddler daughter, and their nine cuckoo clocks. She works a day job in the acquisitions department of a university library and feels her life has been blessed with lots of people to learn from and love. Writing's always been a major part her world, and she's thrilled to finally share some of her stories with other romance lovers.
