Blue Lines Review + Giveaway

Blue Lines
Author: Toni Aleo
Series: Nashville Assasians
Release Date: December 9, 2013
ARC provided by publisher

Opposites do more than just attract in Toni Aleo’s latest Nashville Assassins novel about a very bad boy and the good girl he can’t resist.
The instant Piper Allen sees Erik Titov, she wants him—wants his rock-hard body, sure, but the strength and mystery that lies behind that superstar hockey jock demeanor, too. So when he sidles up to her at a bar and slinks his arm around her waist, she’s lost. What follows is the wildest night of her life . . . followed by inevitable heartbreak the next morning. And then, a few weeks later, a very big surprise: two blue lines on a pregnancy test.
Only a check to the head could make Erik fall for a nice girl like Piper. But since their crazy-sexy night together, he’s been trying to forget about her alluring body by falling into bed with every woman in Nashville, and it’s not working. So when Piper shows up at his house with a baby-bomb to drop, it doesn’t take much for Erik to suggest the nuclear option: marriage. While it’s supposed to be all for show, the second they say “I do,” the ice between them starts to melt into sizzling steam.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: Taking Shots, Trying to Score, and Empty Net.

Piper often dreamed of what their first time together would be like—when their lips

would meet, when their bodies would touch. But unfortunately, that would never happen because

he didn’t want her. That was why she couldn’t believe that at this moment he was talking to her.

Wait a minute, what the hell did he say?

Brushing the loose strands of hair from her face, she asked, “Excuse me?”

Erik looked like he hadn’t shaved in a month, and it did nothing but make her quiver

from the inside out. Her inner drunk slut screamed at her to climb up his hard body, wrap her

legs around his waist, take hold of his thick broad shoulders, and ravish his mouth.

“I heard you liked me.”

I rated Blue Lines with FOUR AND ONE HALF LEAVES! Toni Aleo did it again! Blue Lines is by far one of my favorites from the Assassins series. I have fallen in love with all the other books in this series and Blue Lines definitely didn't disappoint!
Piper has had a crush on Erik for a long while. She definitely didn't expect one night at the bar to change everything she has ever known. Erik is not the type to settle down. That is why he is shocked when her can't get Piper out of his mind. What will these two characters do when they have a huge surprise that came to be from a one night stand?
I love Toni Aleo's writing style. She ALWAYS seems to keep me entertained. I love the fact that we still get to see how our characters from her previous books are doing. It makes me feel so involved with all the characters she writes about. I have not found a single book of hers that I can put down easily. They are completely addicting and I know there is no cure. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next. Read Blue Lines. I know you won't regret it!

Toni Aleo is the author of the Nashville Assassins series: Taking Shots, Trying to Score, Empty Net, and Blue Lines. When not rooting for her beloved Nashville Predators, she’s probably going to her husband’s and son’s hockey games and her daughter’s dance competitions, taking pictures, scrapbooking, or reading the latest romance novel. She lives in the Nashville area with her husband, two children, and a bulldog.
