'I will always take care of you'

My pain started when I was just ten years old, it was the day my mom got that dreaded phone call. Life has never been the same....

'I will always protect you'

I am all kinds of broken....

I have known Logan White since forever, he is my brothers best friend and my secret protector. I used to have nightmares that drew me into a dark place and when the nightmares got too much Logan was by my side. I don't have nightmares anymore, but my life is centred around the tragedy of my past.

Logan is the definition of 'man whore', with girls lining around the block to drop their panties at the click of his fingers. But after an unexpected moment things change. Now Logan is somebody else; hot, sexy and so damn delicious and I want to know him. Desperately.

But then there is Angel Walker who is far from the angelic nature of his name, with eyes so hypnotic that I lose my inhabitations just staring into them. But he is a broken man who just screams sin. He doesn't want to protect me or care for me, He just wants me.

Do I want the man who can cut through all of my pain or the man who could cause me more?

Fists will fly, hearts will shatter and desire will be fueled.

Interview with S.K. Harley

Ashton: Have you always wanted to be a writer? Is there a story there in itself?
Author: I have always had an interest in fiction since I was younger. I remember one weekend when I was around 14, my parents had grounded me for one thing or another and I just picked up a book. If I remember rightly it was Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging, it was my first YA novel and I loved it. Ever since I have enjoyed reading anything romance and not so long ago I decided that I wanted to be able to do what these authors do, provide an escape.
Ashton: Being from the UK, did you find it difficult to break in to the US indie community?
Author: It wasn’t much of a concern to break into the US Indie Community because y’all are very lovely and welcoming people! My main aim is to get my name out there, whether it be the US or UK community or anywhere else. I am just thankful for the opportunity!
Ashton: What singers/bands are on your inspiration-sparking playlist? If no playlist, what inspires the characters and scenes for you stories?
Author: I usually like to listen to song’s from The Black Crowes and Jason Walker, they really help with the thought process for my character building. I also listen to Lindsey Sterling too, she is a violinist with an urban twist and I love listening to her work when I am writing.
Ashton: On Goodreads, you added Katy Evans, Abbi Glines, and Jasinda Wilder as your author influences. What about these authors and their writing styles influence you?
Author: Abbi Glines is actually one of the reasons why I write, I have every book that she has published! I love the dynamics of her writing and being able to make us feel the emotions of the romance laid out in front of us.
I also absolutely LOVE Katy Evans, I totally fan girl over her but I mean who wouldn't? That woman is a genius. I love the way she gave us true raw pain in REAL and the struggles faced by the characters as well as the pure love that the characters have for each other.

Jasinda Wilder is just out of this world, I was so surprised at Falling Into You. I actually cried horrible, ugly tears reading this book because it was so sad and heartbreaking and I loved the way we understood the characters thought process of dealing with her own demons.
Ashton: After reading all of your delicious teaser pics, I am so excited to meet the men of Finding You! Were their characters based off real people?

Author: Sort of, I mean Angel Walker is the messed up broken man who is hot, sexy and dominant in his personality where as Logan White is the usual delicious jock but with 'man whore' tenancies. They are both every woman’s wet dream, you either love the the broken one or you love the cocky one. They are both character personalities that I have seen in many books but I decided I wanted them both! They are both based on what women want, well what I would want anyway!
Ashton: First independent romance book you read.

Author: First romance I picked up was The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley, it made me laugh, smile and cry all in one sitting and I still find myself re-reading it again and again.
Ashton: All-time favorite indie romance author.

Author: Now that is one difficult question to answer! I would have to say Abbi Glines because she introduced me to Dank Walker in the Existence Trilogy. If I ever have a book hangover I pick up that trilogy to get me out of it. Dank Walker is just too delicious for words! Yes, I know he is Death but oh my.
Ashton: How steamy is Finding You going to get? Enough to peel the wallpaper?Author: So, Finding You is centred around a love triangle so the story is filled with lots of angst and high sexual tensions between all three characters. So lets just say it will be explosive!
