Ladies and gentleman, prepare to fall in love with the hot Commander Kaleb Maverick. This duo between Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans is absolutely amazing!! I have read numerous books by Hilary Storm and I always love her writing and her co-author, Kathy Coopmans. The story flowed together--you have no idea where one author finished or the other one started. Reading books with co-authors are always my favorite books to read now!
I completely loved this book from beginning to the end. This book is unique and sexy. The two main characters are great together. The events that happen at the end of the book made me extremely anxious and thrilled for the next book in the series.
This story is about Commander Kaleb Maverick and Captain Jade Elliott. Jade is one of the first females to become an expert sniper and is asked to be part of a special mission. The team of soldiers is selected personally by Kaleb, because they are the best that they do. When Jade is about to get it on with another one of the soldiers, Kaleb has stop the intrusion before it even begins. The chemistry between Kaleb and Jade is off the charts HOT! This story has a bit of the forbidden feel to it between a Commander and a Captain. Their first steamy scenes were filthy and sexy!
Kaleb, is my new book boyfriend!! He is so freaking hot that I was drooling in the first scene with Jade. He is the ultimate alpha male that will keep you on your toes. His confidence just rubs off; he knows what he wants and that being Jade. Jade, wow, this girl is strong! Not just physically but mentally. She is funny and she knows how to live in a world where it is being run by men, she can hold up just as good as the next guy.
My rating for this sexy book is FIVE LEAVES! I really think this series will be my favorite this year and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book! I have to know what happens! This book gave me a major book hangover and it’s the kind of book that just wraps you up and you don’t want to let go until you’ve finished it! Read this book, you will not be disappointed!
