Before reading Something Reckless I would suggest reading Something Wild which is the prequel and is available for free because this book has a past that is better explained in this book. Okay now that that is taken care of, let’s get to the review! Sam and Liz have always tried to hide the depth of their feelings for each other, from each other. In Something Reckless, Liz and Sam finally get their chance; a one night stand only to have it ruined the next morning. Liz is tired of not finding love so she joins a website called Something Real, a website that doesn’t let the matches meet until they’ve hit a benchmark in the relationship; this is where she meets RiverRat and starts to have the hope that the man behind the computer is her Sam. Sam can’t believe that Liz keeps shutting him out the next morning after their night and is tired of fighting these emotions he has for her. When his father starts campaigning, Liz gets the chance of a lifetime to work for him writing his speeches. The only things standing in her way: her ex best friend’s husband Conner, and Sam. Between Connor and Liz’s past is one thing but because of her growing feelings about Sam everything isn’t going to way she planned. When she finally has the chance to meet RiverRat69, her hopes are full field when she ends of meet Sam at the spot. But when Liz says some things that RiverRat69 says to her through her texts and he has no idea what she’s talking about Liz realizes she made a mistake. Will Liz and Sam get their happily ever after or will the true identity of RiverRat69 ruin any chance of Sam and Liz?
