Alarm by Shay Savage Review

~*SYNOPSIS*~
Chloe’s life is safe and comfortable. Meeting a tall, dark stranger covered in tattoos is not in her plans. Bad boys just aren’t her type, even if they gorgeous and built like a brick wall. The alarms in her head warn that Aiden Hunter is definitely on the list of men her mother told her to avoid, but she doesn’t listen.
Still, she finds herself drawn to Aiden and the excitement she is missing in her own life. He fills her days with thrills and danger, and her nights with passion she’s never experienced before. Even though she knows he’s hiding something from her, Chloe pushes away her concerns and dives into this new way of living.
Near the beach in Miami, Aiden teaches her to live life to the fullest as Chloe battles the internal warning bells that tell her to be wary. By the time she realizes her fears may be justified, it’s too late.

Aiden’s past is catching up to him, but is he the hunter or the hunted?

~*REVIEW BY JODIE RAE*~
I rated Alarm by Shay Savage FIVE LEAVES!!!

This is Shay Savage's first book from the female's point of view and of course I loved it!!  The story is about Chloe Ellison, who is living in her perfect, safe comfortable bubble.  She never goes out of her comfort zone and just gets by living to the normal standards. One night out with her friends Chloe stumbles right into Aiden Hunter.  Aiden is the perfect gentlemen and takes her to his place to take care of her drunk self.  When Chloe awakes to a sexy half-naked tattooed guy she realizes her life is soon to be turned upside down.  Aiden Hunter is the complete opposite of Chloe. He is all about living in the 'now' and enjoying life as much as you can.  Aiden invites Chloe to spend the week with him in Florida.  Chloe knows there are tons of 'alarms' going off about Aiden.  She doesn't know what his occupation is (yes, he is in sales, but what really?) and she knows nothing about him. He has secrets. On a whim, Chloe decides to take vacation and spend the week Aiden. As the week goes on Aiden teaches Chloe how to be spontaneous and to enjoy life.

I really liked Aiden and my heart beat faster when he said something sexy, which was almost every time he opened his mouth. I was so intrigued to find out about Aiden's story. Aiden has a troubled past and something he can never forget. He has it blocked in his mind so he can live his life to the fullest.  It is not always the easiest thing to forget your past when you fighting to find the answers and how to heal from it.  That is why Chloe and Aiden were perfect for each other.  Chloe is able to help Aiden more than he could ever imagine.

Alarm was such a phenomenal love story about two people who are perfect for each other but they have to learn to love life. I loved how the story ended. I only wished we could get even more of Chloe and Aiden. The end tied up the book with a pretty bow and it was lovely.   I couldn't get enough of these characters, especially Aiden! This is without a doubt a must read book. Stop what you are doing and read this book, you will not be disappointed. I mean who doesn't love a guy with tattoos?
