Funny girl, Meghan Quinn has done it yet again! Let’s
reverse back to April of 2015 to when The Virgin Romance Novelist first came
back. I remember reading this book like
yesterday because it was my first book to read by Meghan Quinn.
Let me summarize the first book in a couple of sentences so
I don’t get y’all confused! Rosie Bloom is an aspiring author and currently
works at a cat magazine until she can get her book written. Rosie’s goal is to
write a romance story but she is having trouble with writing a sex scene. Rosie is having troubles because she is a
virgin herself, and she is never experienced anything with the opposite sex. Rosie
has two roommates that want to help her with her “issue” and they set her up
with a dating website to meet guys. One of
the roommates that she has is, Henry.
Henry is her sexy best friend that she has always had a little crush
on. Henry sees Rosie going on all her
dates and new feelings open up for the both of them. The first book was so hilarious because how
funny and awkward Rosie really is. She always
finds herself in some crazy situations and the way she handles herself is so funny.
In The Randy Romance Novelist, Rosie has lost her virginity
to her best friend now boyfriend, Henry. Now that she has lost her virginity
she is all about experiencing everything there is to know about sex and
finishing her book. This book is also told her Henry’s POV and I loved it so
much because he knows how to handle the crazy side of Rosie like no one ever
could. I adore Henry and Rosie’s
relationship, their dialogues between the two is hilarious and smart. I loved also loved their chemistry and tension
and that makes for the story so entertaining!
The Randy Romance Novelist is a light-hearted story can be
easily devoured in just one sitting.
Meghan Quinn writing pulls you in and makes you laugh so much with her
characters. The Virgin Romance Novelist/ The Randy Romance Novelist are the perfect
stories that will make you smile and cry from laughing so hard. Both of these
books are FIVE LEAVES review in my opinion, and I encourage everyone to read
these fabulous books!
~*ABOUT THE AUTHOR*~
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
