I love two men. I screw two men. I am in a relationship with them both, and they are both aware there is another. That is all they need to know, that is all I let them know. They don’t need to know a name; they don’t need to know anything, but that they are not alone in my heart.
They have accepted the situation. Stewart, because his life is too busy for the sort of obligations that are required in a relationship. Paul, because he loves me too much to tell me no. And because my sexual appetite is such that one man has trouble keeping up.
So we exist, two parallel relationships, each running their own course, with no need for intersection or conflict. It works for us, for them, and for me. I don’t expect it to be a long-term situation. I know there is an expiration date on the easy perfection of our lives.
I should have paid more attention, should have looked around and noticed the woman who watched it all. She sat in the background and waited, tried to figure me out. Saw my two relationships, the love between us, and the moment that it all fell apart.
She hates me.
I don’t even know she exists.
She loves them. I love them.
And they love me.
EVERYTHING else hangs in the balance.
Oh my goodness where to even begin with this book! First off let me explain that I really do
not like love triangles. I hate falling in love with two men and having to pick one in the end;
someone always gets hurt and my big heart just can’t take it! This book however, I will admit I
was a little scared to read but am I happy that I did. It blew my mind and I had to restrain myself
from reading it sometimes just to get things done because I did not want to set it down. Just from
the synopsis you can get an idea for the book: Madison has two men in her life that she loves
equally and while they both know about each other, their relationships never intersect. Intriguing
and mysterious as to how it works right? Of course you have to be curious!! To start off with our
beautiful men we have tan, laid back surfer, Paul who is her everyday man and loves her with all
his heart. Next, we have Stewart who is her rich, domineering, suit-wearing other man who can
only love her when his schedule permits. Her life fits both men and both men fit her. The two
men know about each other but neither knows who the other is or even the others name. Madison
makes sure to keep them apart for obvious reasons but what happens when her two relationships
collide? Well you’ll just have to read to find out. This was unlike any love triangle I have ever
read and I loved every crazy twist and turning minute of it. Yes you read that correctly, I said
twist and turn because this book has you thinking you’ve figured it out one way only to hit you
with something else entirely! This book is a MUST read I highly recommend but be warned you
will definitely have a book hangover after this one. Luckily there is no cliff hanger and I believe
is a stand alone with a HEA. It was amazing, gut wrenching, and heartfelt and is completely
worth every penny you spend.
