I rated Exquisite Betrayal FOUR LEAVES!! When I was reading the synopsis for the first time, I was hooked! I just knew I had to review this book! Ever since I read Edge of Disaster, I've been intrigued to read more by with A.M. Hargrove. From the first chapter until I closed down my Kindle, I loved this book. First, the heroine is a virgin and a book blogger! Total plus in my books! I really connected with Fallon, she and I have a lot of the same traits. We both like to read and escape our lives into amazing storylines and read about them. I also connected with her when crazy stuff would happen to her (I swear I have the worse luck!) and also falling in love with Ryland Thomas. Swoon!! Here we meet Ryland Thomas who writes romance novels, only a few people know that and uses his sister as the faces writer. Ryland Thomas knows a how to write romance novels, but when it comes to real life woman, he is kind of clueless. I got sooo annoyed with him in the beginning of the book, that I wanted to brag him and shake him! I had so many emotions when I was reading this book from swooning, laughing, and falling in love with Fallon and Ryland Thomas. This book was amazing and I was so upset for it to end!

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn’t do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase. Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head. Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what laptop out the window. She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss and quit her job. Grinning, she made another call to her hubs and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was beating properly again).

So began A. M. Hargrove’s career as a YA/NA and Adult Romance writer.
