Setting off on her dream of culinary school, Ande finds herself knocked senseless by her incredibly sexy Chef Instructor, Daniel, who also happens to have the brains and heart to match. With her plan to keep herself from repeating history, she attempts to deny what could possibly break her. Ande finds out she is not the only one with a torrid past when a bright light is shed on Daniel’s former years.
When ghosts from her past find her in the middle of her trek through culinary school and an impending relationship with Daniel, her life takes a disastrous turn. She must find the strength to push through school alongside a man that drives her wild with lust, all while trying to figure out her relationship with a stranger from years before. With help from her friends, and a tad bit of alcohol, Ande navigates her way through the pitfalls of falling in love, being broken hearted and making lasting friendships.
An amusing love story filled with steamy sex, heartache, and surprises at every turn.
This
book starts off like an appetizer that is decent, then it slowly moves
into the main dish which is mind blowing, and then ends with a dessert
that is so delicious that makes you want to come back tomorrow to have
it again.
On
the first day of Ande's orientation she runs smack dab into Chef Daniel,
an instructor in the school. They have their runs into each other and
the insta-attraction is there for them both. Although it's been a while
since Ande has been divorced she hasn't had much time for the opposite
sex. Ande tries everything sh can to deny the sexual tension and
chemistry, due to Daniel not letting her in and trusting her with his
past. As time goes by and Ande gets frustrated, Blake, Ande's
ex-husband makes an appearance back in her life. With certain events
that take place you as the reader are left with un-answered questions
and it makes you wonder if Ande will pick Daniel or the love she use to
know, Blake.
I am tempted to give some spoilers away, but I will bite my tongue, so that you will read this book for yourself! I enjoyed the secondary characters in this book, I enjoyed each one of Ande's friends. They all played a special role in Ande's life that made the book enjoyable to read. Sex scenes are there, but they aren't described in detail for my taste but you still get the idea and they are hot. I loved that this book is not left with a cliffhanger per-say, but you can't contain the excitement for the next book. If you like book with drama, love triangles, and a strong independent woman, then this book is for you. I look forward to reading future books from this series and the continuing stories of Ande, Blake, and Daniel and; Ande's friends and the life in the kitchen.

I reside in Sunny Southern California. I recently self published my first novel, Cutting Deep. I wrote this during a quarter life crisis, and never dreamed it would ever be finished or actually published. I would say I have the worst sense of humor out of anyone I know, except my friends. I find things funny that others may find not so funny, but I cant help myself. I try to find the humor in everything in life. I'm addicted to tattoo's and I'm not sure I know one person in my massive family that does not have a tattoo. Crazy Right?
I will leave you with this quote "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing" -Ben Franklin.
