“Well, then, what do you want from me, Olivia?” he asked loudly, watching her walk away. She spun around abruptly and searched his eyes. “I don’t want you to always feel like you have to come and help me, Alex,” she whimpered, her throat beginning to close up again, thinking about the man who was no longer hers. “I just want you to stand by my side while I try to help myself.” Her eyes narrowed, staring at him as he remained silent on the busy Boston street. “Do you think you can do that?” She looked at him as snow continued to blanket the sidewalk, desperately wanting him to say that yes, he could do that. That he would stand by her side. That he would forget all about her running out on him. And that he would do anything he could to make sure she never did the same thing again. But instead, Alexander just stood there and stared, not saying anything. Several moments passed, the silence deafening. “That’s what I thought.” Her eyes fell as she turned and continued to walk, shivering from the snow and the last shattered pieces of her heart being stomped on. Alexander tried to open his mouth to say something. Anything. Tell her to wait. Stop. He made a mistake. But nothing came out. He knew he had just let the only woman he would ever truly love walk out of his life. And he did nothing. He watched his entire world fall apart and he didn't do anything to stop it. Originally from New England, she now resides in sunny Southern California with her husband, dog and three cats, all of which she has rescued (including the husband). She always had a knack for writing, but mostly in the legal field. Fuck, she was going to be the death of me. “I won’t bite I promise, not unless you want me to.” She said, throwing my words back at me that I had  said to her before. She started walking back to my room and just before going through the door, she brought her shirt over head and dropped it to the floor without ever looking back at me. It didn’t take me long to make a decision.

By the time I had my clothes off she was already under the water. I could see the outline of her body through the frosted shower door. I swallowed hard before opening it up and joining her. She was facing away from me, and the water was cascading down her back onto that luscious ass of hers. I noticed she had a small tattoo of an angel’s halo, and wings on her left shoulder blade, and it looked sexy on her smooth skin. Stepping in behind her, I grabbed her by the waist. I knew she could feel how hard I already was for her.  She pushed her hips back, putting pressure at the base of my dick. Turning around, she pressed herself up against me while she placed her hands around the back of my neck. She let out a soft moan as I rubbed the water around on her back and ass.

“Isaac, I know you said you wanted to wait, but I don’t think I can. I’ve been wanting to rub my hands all over your body since I first laid eyes on you. Please don’t make me wait.” She said in a pleading tone. I was so torn whether to be a good man and wait or to be greedy and make her mine. She must have sensed my inner fight I had going on. “I know we just met and you wanted to show me you could wait, but I need to touch you. We don’t have to have sex, just let me make you feel good.”  Her hands were rubbing up and down my arms, and she was running her tongue along my collarbone. Shit, how could I say no to this? 

Allison is a stay at home mother of three young, full of life kids. She’s a proud Military Wife, and is currently living in California.  Two pomeranians complete her family.

She was born and raised in Upstate New York. She moved to Colorado Springs where she met her husband her junior year of high school.  Although she will always call NY home, she can’t wait to get back to CO after her husband retires.

Growing up she actually hated english class. It was her least favorite subject. It wasn’t until recently that she discovered her love for reading. She would spend hours on her phone, or ipad and read book after book.

One day in September while in the shower, (yes the shower) the idea of Cadillac came to her. She wrote a general outline of the story that day, and that started it for her.  That was the beginning of her journey as she is so excited to have made it this far.

Cadillac is her debut novel and she can’t wait for you to meet Isaac and Renee.

She already has plans on writing more.

I rate Save Me From Me  FIVE LEAVES!!! First off... I freaking love Erika!! Erika has a great ability to write emotions that jump off the page and make you feel right along with her characters. I look forward to all of Erika's books!! 

This isn't the first time we meet Holden, he played a role in Moving Forward and I was very excited that he got his own story and future that was what he was destined to have, and that is Dani. 

Dani has moved back to her hometown from being away for ten years.  She is all country and I love that about her! She isn't afraid to be herself and stand up for what she is and believes in.  Holden is a good ole country boy.  (I love me some country boys!) When they first meet each other you just know the sparks on flying for them. 

There were so many times I thought I know what was going to happen and I would be right.  Then the next twist would come, and heck something else would completely take by surprise.  What at times looked predictable ended up shocking me left and right. It was really fun just experiencing this book and slowing finding out more and more until all the secrets and the unknown was spread out.  The book had me needing a cold shower, Kleenexes to clean my snotty nose, and a smile on my face because this book is truly amazing.  I think everyone said read one no... all of Erika's books!

Being born an "Army Brat", Erika Ashby has been residing in Oklahoma the last 10 years finally putting an end to the nomad tendencies she had grown accustomed to. She's a happily married woman who has 5 kids between her and her husband. She has an insane passion for music and embraces her Inner Groupie any chance she has. We were heading back to the meeting point with only two hundred and fifty metres left to go, before having completed the full five kilometre circuit of the lake. Riley and I had been running together most of the way, I knew he had been taking it easy to stay with me and I appreciated the gesture.

“Come on I’ll race you, loser pays for dinner,” I called, taking off at a sprint.

Riley was like a freaking Olympian he was so fast, but I had longer legs so could take longer strides. I pushed as hard as I could to at least try to stay level with him, and I’m sure in the end he backed off to let me win.

I threw myself down on the grass under a shady tree and laid stretched out, hands over head trying to calm my breathing.

“Hot, sweaty and breathless really suits you,” Riley said with a cheeky grin as he lay down next to me, mimicking my position.

“Well I have you to thank for that, you were riding me pretty hard toward the end.” I blushed suddenly realising what I had just blurted out, but Riley just chuckled.

“Next time you can ride me, as hard as you like.”

I blushed an even deeper scarlet and shook my head to clear the tantalising image, I could always replay it later.

“Okay, pair up for stretches,” Mal instructed to the group.

Now stretches I could do, fifteen years of ballet had kept me very flexible. Riley knelt up over one of my legs while he held the ankle of the other.

“Let me know if it hurts,” he said, the corner of his mouth twitching.

“I can take it,” I said, biting my bottom lip.

He pushed my leg gently at first, then realising it was still going, pushed it all the way so my foot was beside my head and he was leaning right over me.

“Ah...that’s handy,” he said with raised eyebrows, a cheeky smile shining through his eyes again.

I diverted my eyes and looked down at his side. From the position he was in, I could now read the tattoo clearly, it said;

Give me Strength when I’m standing and Faith when I fall

I lightly ran my fingers down the tattoo as I read it, and he shivered but held still, watching my face intently.

“Was it just something you liked or does it have special significance for you?” I asked curiously.

“It has significance in various ways,” he said, sitting down next to me. “In the military we need strength when we’re standing toe to toe with the enemy, and faith that we can get back up in the face of defeat. But I think we need faith that we are doing the right thing and making the right decisions in life, even when the right thing is sometimes the hardest.”

He smiled down at me. “Do you have any tattoos hidden away?”

His eyes scanned my body. There wasn’t that much that was covered up under my little shorts and crop top.

I shook my head. “I’ve thought about it, but I’ve never found a verse or picture that I would want to wear for the rest of my life.” I shrugged. “
