I rated Taken by Love by Melissa Foster FOUR LEAVES!!
This book was so sweet I think I need a cavity after reading it! I loved it! Daisy Honey is a doctor who’s had to go back home and face her demons from her past after her father took a fall off his tractor and needed some help. Hating being back in Trusty, she has no choice but to try to ignore the memories of all the rumors those spiteful girls spread about her in high school; doctor or no doctor there is no fixing something like that. The only thing she didn’t count on was seeing only other man, besides her best friend, that stuck up for her: town bad boy Luke Braden and he is one hot cowboy!! After literally running into Luke and almost losing her cake she realizes that the crush she used to have on him has now turned into a strong case of lust. Luke has never felt a connection to the women in his hometown, the rumors point him as what he feels is the bad guy and he has no interest in connecting, until he catches Daisy.
Luke and Daisy have tons of hurdles that they must cross individually before they can fully commit to one another. Add the fact that she has a choice between two big city hospitals that want her, with a time limit of four weeks until she has to choose, she’s not so sure that leaving is even what she wants anymore. Can Luke convince her to stay with him or will she choose to get away from the town she thought she hated? I want a Luke he is one of the sweetest cowboys ever! Swoon!
